The Magoffin County Sheriff’s Office is proud to announce the graduation of our newest certified deputy sheriff Donavon Watson.
Donavon is the son of Keith and the late Cari N. Watson, of Salyersville, Kentucky.
Deputy Watson entered the Academy in Richmond on December 11, 2022, and graduated on May 10, 2023. During that time, Deputy Watson earned Fit for Duty status. Richmond’s Academy is a highly-ranked law enforcement program that consists of 20 weeks and over 800 hours of intense training.
I am proud of Deputy Watson’s accomplishments and I am looking forward to working with him and watching him grow in his new career.
