Dorothy Howard Puckett, age 76, a resident of Bullmare Road in Salyersville, Kentucky; passed away Tuesday, May 27, 2025 at her home.
Dorothy was born August 9, 1948, in Swampton, Kentucky the daughter of the late Beecher and Bessie Arnett Howard.
Dorothy is a graduate of Salyersville High School in Salyersville, Kentucky. She was employed as a clerk at Frazier Prater Drug in Salyersville, Kentucky for many years. She was a member of the Gun Creek United Baptist Church in Royalton, Kentucky.
Those left to mourn includes husband, Charles E. Puckett, whom married her on November 12, 1976, sisters, Etta Jean Wireman of Ohio, Katherine Cochran of Ohio, a host of family and friends who love and miss her.
Funeral service for Dorothy Puckett will be conducted Friday, May 30, 2025, at 11:00 AM from the chapel of the Salyersville Funeral Home. Clergy Beecher McCarty Jr. and David Minix will deliver comforting words on the day of service. Interment will follow in the Howard Family Cemetery on Bullmare Road in Salyersville, Kentucky. The family will welcome friends all day Thursday and anytime Friday prior to funeral services.
