Earnest Lee Keeton age 61 of Salyersville, Kentucky passed away Saturday, February 04, 2023 at the St. Mary Hospital in Huntington, West Virginia. He was born July 01, 1961 in Salyersville, Kentucky to Steve Keeton and the late Sylvia Marcelle Gipson Keeton.
Survived by his father, his loving companion, Donna Cox, two sons, Earnest (Whitney) Keeton, Jr., Michael (Selina) Farmer both of Hyden, Kentucky, two daughters, Sylvia (Donnie Tilley) Keeton of Salyersville, Kentucky, Tonyellen (Chris Triplett) Cox of Point Pleasant, West Virginia, two brothers, Luther (Evelyn) Keeton, Raymond (Jean) Keeton, two sisters, Lucy (James) Keeton, Roberta Lynn Nickells, ten grandchildren, Diamond Tilley, Alexis Tulley, Deanna Tilley Denavan Tilley, Coltlee Keeton, Rosalena Keeton, Alex Keeton, Toby Keeton, Dominique Madison, Jazmin Tripplett, twenty-four nieces and nephews, with thirty-seven great nieces and nephews.
In addition to his mother, Earnest is preceded in death by one daughter, Samantha Jo Keeton.
Earnest served in the National Guards and by trade a sawmill operator.
Funeral services were conducted Wednesday, February 08, 2023 from the Magoffin County Funeral Home Chapel with William Paul Perkins officiating. Burial followed in the Patrick-Lovely Cemetery at Johnson Fork, Kentucky.
Arrangements are under the direction of the Magoffin County Funeral Home.
