Eddith Gay Hensley 74 of Salyersville passed from this life on Saturday evening July 26, 2025 at the Community Hospice Care Center in Ashland, Ky., following a short illness. She was born October 03, 1950 at Maggard, Kentucky to the late Dennie and Thelma Howard Hensley.
Survived by two brothers, Justice Hensley, Stanley Hensley both of Salyersville, Kentucky, two sisters, Alta Mae Howard, Glenna Elam both Salyersville, Kentucky, with a host of nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents, Eddith is preceded in death by five brothers, William Hensley, Phillip Hensley, Irvin Hensley, Tommy Hensley, Terry Hensley, two sisters, Janet Hensley, and Patricia Hensley.
Eddith was a faithful member of the Burning Fork Community Church.
Funeral services will be conducted at 1:00 P.M. Thursday, July 31, 2025 from the Magoffin County Funeral Home Chapel with Doug Dunn and John Blanton officiating. Burial will follow in Lyon Cemetery at Coon Creek, Kentucky. Friends may visit the funeral home any time prior to funeral services.
