Edward Risner age 78 of Puncheon Creek Road, Royalton, Kentucky passed away Wednesday, September 15, 2021 at his home. He was born September 28, 1942 in Gypsy, Kentucky to the late Okie and Mary Risner.
Survived by two sons, Michael (Maria) Risner of Houston, Texas, Mitchell (Marlena) Risner of Royalton, Kentucky, one daughter, Angie (Ranzil) Risner of Salyersville, Kentucky, two brothers, Adam (Joanna) Risner of Royalton, Paul B. Risner of Royalton, Kentucky, three sisters, Imogene Dyer of Royalton, Kentucky, Bonnie Goodpaster of Thelma, Kentucky, Virginia Harcourt of Loveland, Ohio, seven grandchildren, Jeff (Emily) Shepherd, Andrew Shepherd, both of Morehead, Kentucky, Aaron Slusher of Salyersville, Kentucky, Emmalee Risner, Kaydence Risner, Reagann Risner, and Ethan Risner, all of Royalton, Kentucky.
In addition to his parents, Edward is preceded in death by one brother, Don Risner, three sisters, Connie Miller, Wanda Slone, and Ellare Imgram.
Edward was a carpenter by trade and a dedicated Deacon of the Salyersville Pentecostal Church of Christ.
Funeral service were conducted Sunday, September 19, 2021 at the Magoffin County Funeral Home Chapel with Phillip Puckett officiating. Burial followed in the Stephen D. Howard Cemetery at the Mouth of Shawnie Branch, Kentucky.
Arrangements are under the direction of the Magoffin County Funeral Home.
