Elaine Alta Perry , age 77, a resident of West Maple Street in Salyersville, Kentucky, passed away Tuesday, November 9, 2021 at Paul B Hall Medical Center in Paintsville, Kentucky.
Elaine was born April 25, 1944 in LaPorte, Indiana to the late Jack and Alta Pointon Tidey. Elaine was preceded in death by her husband
Bill Perry, brothers, Randy Tidy, Allen Tidy, Jack Pointon, sisters, Wilma Christianson, Judy Blake, Eva Brown, Celeste Galloway, and granddaughter Jamie Payne proceeded her in death.
Those left to mourn includes two son, Carl Mead of Las Cruces, New Mexico, Raymond Mead and wife Deanna of Cookeville, Tennessee, three daughters, Lori Payne and husband John of Meridian, Mississippi, Billie Bailey of Salyersville, Kentucky, Dawn Arnett of Salyersville, Kentucky, three brothers, Ricky Tidy, Kevin Tidy, Rodger Tidy all of LaPorte, Indiana, four sisters, Dorothy Chlebowski of Georgia, Merlyn Jones of Elkhart, Indiana, Karen Searing and Vickie Marcum both of LaPorte, Indiana, 10 grandchildren, 13 great grandchildren, along with a host of other family and friends who love and miss her.
Funeral services for Elaine Perry were conducted Sunday, November 14, 2021 from the chapel of the Salyersville Funeral Home. Clergy Jim Puckett and Robert Casey delivered comforting words on the day of service. Interment followed in the Perry Family Cemetery on Coal Branch in Salyersville, Kentucky.
