Gladys Miller Wireman, age 98, a resident of Trace Road in Gunlock, Kentucky; passed away Thursday, July 20, 2023 at Knott County Health and Rehabilitation Center in Hindman, Kentucky.
Gladys was born August 6, 1924 at home in Waldo, Kentucky the daughter of the late Carue and Fannie Wireman Miller. Those proceeding her in death are; husband, Seldon Wireman; sons; Gene Autry Owens, Roy Rogers Owens, Johnny Mack Owens; brothers, Clifford Miller, Willard Miller; sisters; Virgie Blanton, and Susie Munson Taube; grandson; Seldon Auxier, and great granddaughter; Paisley Marie Curtis.
Gladys was a pillar to her family, friends, and community. She enjoyed attending church and visiting the folks of the county.
Those left to mourn includes son, Rickey Wireman and wife Patty of Gunlock, Kentucky; daughters, Magdalene Fox and husband Mike of Gunlock, Kentucky, Vonda Sue Auxier and husband Kennith of Gunlock, Kentucky, Fannie Roberts and husband Raymond of Gunlock, Kentucky; daughter in law, Delores Owens of Gunlock, Kentucky; fifteen grandchildren, twenty-eight great grandchildren, six great great grandchildren; a host of family and friends who love and miss her.
Funeral services for Gladys Miller Wireman were conducted Monday, July 24, 2023 from the Little Rachel Church in Gunlock, Kentucky. Clergy Willie Crase delivered comforting words on the day of service. Interment followed in the Miller Cemetery in Gunlock, Kentucky.
Arrangements were entrusted to the Salyersville Funeral Home in Salyersville, Kentucky.
