SALYERSVILLE – Another indictment was released this past week as police continue to serve the defendants charged by a Magoffin County grand jury on June 20.
Angel H. Breeding, 25, of Whitesburg, Kentucky, is charged with first-degree trafficking in a controlled substance, first offense, carfentanil or fentanyl derivatives (Class C felony) and possession of drug paraphernalia (Class A misdemeanor). According to the indictment, on or about March 14, 2024, Breeding allegedly manufactured, distributed, dispensed, sold, transferred, or possessed with the intent to manufacture, distribute or sell a quantity of fentanyl, as well as possessed items for the purpose of inhaling, ingesting or otherwise introducing into the human body a controlled substance.
So far, six indictments have been released from the last grand jury meeting, though it is unknown how many people were charged until each can be served either with warrants or court summons.
