Harold Minix age 76 of Salyersville, Kentucky passed away Thursday, April 1, 2021 at the Grand Haven Nursing Home in Cynthiana, Kentucky. He was born January 27, 1945 in Salyersville, Kentucky to the late Clyde and Icie Rowe Minix.
Survivors include one son, David and wife, Sarah Minix of Richmond, Kentucky, one daughter, Elizabeth and Ricky Jason Tackett of Salyersville, Kentucky, four brothers, Lester and wife, Ruth Minix, Hagar and wife, Jeannie Minix, Donald and wife, Olive Minix, Doyle and wife, Marcella Minix, four sisters, Helen and husband, Jack Muholland, Iris Brown, Dorisanne Davis, Charlette and husband, Carlos Jackson, five grandchildren, Persephone Minix, Liam Minix, Elijah Minix, Caleb Ingram, and Jacob Ingram.
In addition to his parents, Harold is preceded in death by his wife, Sharon Arnett Minix, one grandson, Jason Channing Tackett, one brother, Alvis Minix and one sister, Joyce Davis.
Funeral services were conducted at 11:00 a.m. Tuesday, April 06, 2021 from the Magoffin County Funeral Home Chapel with Derrick Meade officiating. Burial followed in the Patrick Cemetery at College Heights, Salyersville, Kentucky.
Masonic rites were conducted at 7:00 P.M. Monday evening from the Magoffin County Funeral Home by the Salyersville Lodge #769 F&AM.
Military rites were given by the Salyersville D.A.V. Chapter 15 the day of the funeral service.
Arrangements were under the direction of the Magoffin County Funeral Home.
