Hearl Jones Howard age 78 of Salyersville, Kentucky passed away Saturday, January 27, 2024 at the Highlands ARH in Prestonsburg, Kentucky. He was born August 05,1945 in Salyersville, Kentucky to the late Chester Jones and Mary Ward Howard.
Survivors include one son, Phillip Jones (Kathy) Howard of Salyersville, Kentucky, two daughters, Kathy LaSha Puckett, Beverly Jane (Dean) Russell both of Salyersville, Kentucky, five brothers, Luster Howard, Charlie Howard, both of Salyersville, Kentucky, Kelton Howard, Lewis Howard both of Oil Springs, Kentucky, Dallas Howard of Salyersville, Kentucky, seventeen grandchildren, thirty-nine great grandchildren, and two great-great grandchildren.
In addition to his parents, Hearl is preceded in death by his wife, Lorene Gamble Howard, one daughter, Tammy Sue Howard, four brothers, Shelby Howard, Farish Howard, Lester Howard, Henry Howard, four sisters, Cloetta Jenkins, Flotella Tackett, Gustie Williams, and Phyllis Bolen.
Funeral services were conducted Wednesday, January 31, 2024 from the Magoffin County Funeral Home Chapel with Jackie Smith officiating. Burial followed in the Head of Buffalo Cemetery at Salyersville, Kentucky.
Arrangements were under the direction of the Magoffin County Funeral Home.
