SALYERSVILLE — Magoffin County is seeded fourth in the 57th District Boys’ Basketball Tournament, which will begin on Tuesday, Feb. 25.
Defending 15th Region champion Magoffin County will host the entire 57th District Boys’ Basketball Tournament.
Reigning champion Martin County, Johnson Central and Paintsville each compiled a 4-2 57th District record during the regular season and finished tied atop the standings.
Johnson Central will be the one seed for the 57th District Boys’ Basketball Tournament.
Magoffin County will meet one seed Johnson Central in the opening game of the 57th District Boys’ Basketball Tournament at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday, Feb. 25. Johnson Central defeated Magoffin County in a pair of 57th District boys’ basketball games during the regular season.
Two seed Paintsville and three seed Martin County will meet at 8:15 p.m. in the nightcap of the 57th District Boys’ Basketball Tournament’s initial round on Tuesday, Feb. 25.
The 57th District Boys’ Basketball Tournament Championship Game is scheduled for 7:30 p.m. on Thursday, Feb 27.
