Howard Harlow Back, age 86, a resident of West Lick Branch in Salyersville, Kentucky; passed away Sunday, September 25, 2022 at his home.
Harlow was born August 8, 1936 in Salyersville, Kentucky the son of the late Johnnie and Eulah Gullett Back. Brothers, Jim Wesley “JW” Back, Kenneth Back, Eugene Back, sister, Millie Grimm, preceded him in death.
He proudly served his Country in the United States Air Force until he was honorably discharged. Upon his return he was employed in real estate and other small business ventures.
Those left to mourn includes his son, Shaun Back and wife Mary of Salyersville, Kentucky, sister, Margie Jo Adkins of Salyersville, Kentucky, two grandchildren, Isaiah and Emmalee Lemaster of Salyersville, Kentucky, one great-grandchild, Willow Grey Lemaster of Salyersville, Kentucky, a host of family and friends who love and miss him.
Funeral services for Howard Harlow Back will be conducted Friday, September 30, 2022 at 2:00 PM from the chapel of the Salyersville Funeral Home. Clergy Johnnie Reed will deliver comforting words on the day of service. Interment will in the Dyer and Back Cemetery in Salyersville, Kentucky. The family will welcome friends Friday, September 30, after 10:00 AM, until the hour of the funeral service.
