Hubert Jenkins age 93 of Rockhouse Road, Salyersville, Kentucky passed away Saturday, August 7, 2021, at the Paul B. Hall Medical Center in Paintsville, Kentucky. He was born April 19, 1928, at Rockhouse, Kentucky to the late Arthur and Ora Montgomery Jenkins.
Survived by two son, Nicky C. (Lisa) Jenkins of Sciotoville, Ohio, Teddy Allen (Nancy “Flap”) Jenkins of Salyersville, Kentucky, two sisters, Shirley (Branard) Russell of Salyersville, Kentucky, Kolean (Bill) Fugate of Salyersville, Kentucky, eight grandchildren, Derek (Candance) Jenkins, Chasten (Leeanna) Jenkins, Breana Lutes, Brittany Wallace, Tommy Manns, Chad Manns, Hannah Keeton, Isaac Keeton, six great grandchildren, Adalynn Hunt, Taytum Hunt, Journee Jenkins, Ellie Lutes, Nash Jenkins, and Luke Cook.
In addition to his parents, Hubert is preceded in death by his wife, Reva Jenkins, four brothers, Edward Jenkins, Ervin Jenkins, Herbert Jenkins, Charles Jenkins, three sisters, Dorothy Jenkins, Alma Arnett, and Berneice Lyon.
Hubert was a carpenter by trade, member of the Elk Fork Masonic Lodge #755 F&AM, for fifty-five years, and served proudly, as a Deacon for sixty-two years at the Rockhouse United Baptist Church.
Funeral services for Hubert were conducted Tuesday, August 10, 2021, from the Magoffin County Funeral Home with John Blanton, C.J. Tackett, and C.J. Murray officiating. Burial followed in the Jenkins Cemetery at Rockhouse, Kentucky.
Masonic Rites will be given at 7:00 P.M. Monday, by the Elk Fork Masonic Lodge #755 F&AM.
Arrangements are under the direction of the Magoffin County Funeral Home.
