James Kenton Dickerson

James Kenton Dickerson age 67 of Prestonsburg, Kentucky passed away Thursday, April 24, 2025 at the St. Mary’s Medical Center in Huntington, West Virginia. He was born May 18, 1957 in Prestonsburg, Kentucky to the late James Orbin and Ann Margaret Howard Dickerson.

Survived by his wife, Cindy Hall Dickerson, one daughter, Courtney Marie Hall of Betsy Layne, Kentucky, with a host of cousins, family, friends, and his fur babies.

James was a electrician, rail road conductor engineer, and musician, a faithful member of the Faith Bible Church, and a dedicated member of the Middle Creek Fire Department.

Funeral services were conducted Monday, April 28, 2025 from the Magoffin County Funeral Home Chapel with Robert Stephens and Josh Ratliff officiating. Burial followed in the Highlands Memorial Park at Staffordsville, Kentucky.

In lieu of flowers, family has requested that donations to; Faith Bible Church, (In memory of James Kenton Dickerson), 16 Finance Hollow, Martin, Kentucky 41649.

Arrangements were under the direction of the Magoffin County Funeral Home.
