Jimmy Porter, age 59, a resident of Salyersville, Kentucky, passed away Saturday, April 27, 2024 at Cabell Huntington Hospital in Huntington, West Virginia after a lengthy illness.
Mr. Porter was born October 7, 1964 at Paintsville Hospital in Paintsville, Kentucky the son of the late Simon and Martha Manns Porter.
Mr. Porter was employed as a mechanic until his retirement.
Those left to mourn include wife, Pamela Risner Porter of Salyersville, Kentucky, brothers, Sherman Porter of Knox, Indiana, Sammy Porter of Royalton, Kentucky, Timmy Porter of Royalton, Kentucky, sisters, Michelle Brewer of Texas, Tonya Prater of Royalton, Kentucky, a host of family and friends who love and miss him.
Funeral services for Jimmy Porter were conducted Thursday, May 2, 2024, from the chapel of the Salyersville Funeral Home in Salyersville, Kentucky. Interment followed in the Risner Cemetery up Puncheon Creek. Contributions can be given to the memorial fund at the Salyersville Funeral Home.
