Joan Patrick Bailey age 82 of Royalton, Kentucky passed away Tuesday, December 31, 2024 at her home. She was born May 03, 1942 in Royalton, Kentucky to the late Johnnie and Dora Shepherd Patrick.
Survived by four sons, John David (Jaqueline) Bailey of Salyersville, Kentucky, Samuel Patrick (Teresa) Bailey of Royalton, Kentucky, Robert Ray (Connie) Bailey of Royalton, Kentucky, Joe Dale (Josie) Bailey of Salyersville, Kentucky, one daughter, Dora Jayne (Steve) Helpenstine of Maysville, Kentucky, ten grandchildren, Johna Bailey Conley, Jeffery Dean Bailey, Samuel Patrick Bailey, Dustin Paul Bailey, Kelsey Dawn Salyer, Bobby Ray Bailey, Sheena Bailey Risner, Nigel Joe Bailey, Sarah Nichole New, Shawn Michael Helpenstine, and sixteen great grandchildren.
In addition to her parents, Joan is preceded in death by her husband, Dave Bailey, one son, Jeffery Dean Bailey, seven brothers, Sam Patrick, Robert Patrick, Roy Patrick, Frank Patrick, Ollie Patrick, Walter Patrick, Ray Patrick, seven sisters, Phyllis Marshall, Laverne Buroker, Joy Mullins, Ruth Sebrie, Lena Harbor, Erma Hoover, and Prudie Patrick.
Funeral services were conducted Saturday, January 04, 2025 from the Magoffin County Funeral Home Chapel with Beecher Junior McCarty officiating. Burial followed in the Bailey Family Cemetery at Royalton, Kentucky.
Arrangements were under the direction of the Magoffin County Funeral Home.
