Joella Culbertson Dalton aged 72 of Knoxville Tennessee passed away peacefully on Thursday March 31st 2022 at her home surrounded by her family. She was born October 28th 1949 in Paintsville Kentucky to the late George Culbertson Jr. and Cynthia Isaac. She is survived by two daughters Kimberly Jo (Craig) Simpkins of Scott Depot, West Virginia and Krista Elizabeth (Chris) Schadt of Knoxville, Tennessee. Two granddaughters Lela Ruth Louise Simpkins and Maya Elizabeth Dalton Schadt. In addition to her parents, Joella is proceeded in death by her husband Gary Ray Dalton.
Memorial Service will be held at the Magoffin County Funeral Home on April 16th in Salyersville Kentucky with visitation starting at 11 am and service at 1pm, with burial to follow at Highland Memorial Park. A reception and celebration of life will be held at the Ramada Paintsville Kentucky following the graveside service. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the UTMC Hospice and Palliative Care Program in Knoxville Tennessee and/or Our Community Reads LLC of Ypsilanti Michigan.
