John G. Tackett age 56 of Oil Springs, Kentucky passed away Friday, October 10, 2025 at the Paintsville ARH Hospital in Paintsville, Kentucky. He was born in Wabash County, Indiana to the late Alice Sammons Lafferty.
Survived by his wife, Lora Ratliff Tackett, one son, William (Siera) Tackett of Morehead, Kentucky, one granddaughter, Athena Rose Tackett, and one brother, James Tackett of Pennsylvania.
A memorial service will be held at a later date.
Arrangements were under the direction of the Magoffin County Funeral Home.
