John Borders age 54 of Salyersville, Kentucky passed away Monday, January 12, 2026 at his home. He was born April 02, 1971 in Prestonsburg, Kentucky to Hazel Mae Adams and the late Randell Borders.
Survived by his wife, Jennifer Howes Borders, one daughter, Anna Grace Gasparac of Salyersville, Kentucky, one brother, Jamie Neal (Lori) Gibson of Salyersville, Kentucky, niece, Emily Carty, and special nephew, Matthew Ross Cole.
In addition to his father, John is preceded in death by one son, Samuel Paul Gasparac, paternal grandparents, Arby “Buddy” and Ora Borders, maternal grandparents, Jack Adams and Helen Gasparett.
John was a dedicated member of the New Life Worship Center and retired from the Continental Conveyor.
Funeral services for John, will be conducted at 1:00 P.M. Friday, January 16, 2026 from the New Life Worship Center with Pastor William Paul Perkins and James Rudd officiating. Burial will follow in the Highland Memorial Park at Staffordsville, Kentucky. Friends may visit the church Thursday, January 15, 2026 after 1:00 P.M. and any time prior to funeral services.
