Johnny M. Rowland Jr., age 74, a resident of West Harrison, Indiana, passed away Thursday, December 3, 2020 at Mercy Hospital in Cincinnati, Ohio. Johnny Jr. was born April 7, 1946 in Hazard, Kentucky the son of Johnny Rowland and Lillie Mae (Gamble) Rowland. Wife, Theria Rowland, great grandson, Myles Cooper, also preceded him in death.
Johnny Jr. is the loving father of Mickey (April) Rowland, David Rowland and the late Rita Rowland and his infant son John Rowland III. Step-father of Michael (Bernice) Arnett, David Arnett, Linda Arnett and Lisa Bishop. Also survived by his special granddaughter, Mercedes Hersey, 12 grandchildren and numerous great-grandchildren.
Visitation was held Monday, December 7, from 12 Noon until time of Funeral Services at 2 pm at the Neidhard-Minges Funeral Home, 10385 New Haven Rd. (Harrison). A graveside service was conducted Tuesday, December 8, 2020 at the Allen Family Cemetery on Long Branch in Salyersville, Kentucky with the Salyersville Funeral Home in charge of the arrangements.
