RT 460 WEST – A Johnson County man died as a result of a one-vehicle collision in Magoffin County on Tuesday evening.
Around 7 p.m. on March 26, crews were called to a one-vehicle wreck on Rt. 460 West, in which a Chevrolet Silverado reportedly crossed the center line and hit a large tree.
It took the Magoffin County Rescue Squad nearly two hours to extricate the driver, identified as Sidney “Sid’ Lemaster, 37, of Johnson County, who was transported by ground to Paintsville ARH hospital and later moved to Pikeville Medical Center, where he was pronounced deceased later that night.
The Magoffin County Sheriff’s Department continues to investigate the collision.
