Jonathan Morrison, age 51, a resident of Staton, Kentucky; passed away Tuesday, February 6, 2024 at Saint Joseph Hospital in Lexington, Kentucky after a lengthy illness.
Jonathan was born October 11, 1972, in Winchester, Kentucky the son of Hubert “Buddy” Morrison and the late Nannie Marie Perry McKenzie.
Jonathan obtained his Associate Degree in Diesel Mechanics and worked in the automotive industry until his retirement.
Those left to mourn includes father, Hubert “Buddy” Morrison and wife Glenna of Slade, Kentucky, wife, Amy Morrison of Salyersville, Kentucky, daughters, Jonah Morrison of Salyersville, Kentucky, Natalea Morrison of Salyersville, Kentucky, Christina Collins of Georgetown, Kentucky, sons, Keegan Morrison of Salyersville, Kentucky, Nicholas Morrison of Salyersville, Kentucky, Jon-Lukas Morrison of Salyersville, Kentucky, sister, Rebecca Coffey of Spring City, Tennessee, granddaughters, Emmeline Gibson, Annabella Gibson, Charlette Gibson of Salyersville, Kentucky, dear friend, Alvie Lloyd Hollon of Slade, Kentucky, a host of family and friends who love and miss him.
Funeral services for Jonathan Morrison were conducted Sunday, February 11, 2024, from the chapel of the Salyersville Funeral Home. Interment and a memorial service will be in the Ledford Cemetery at Pine Ridge, Kentucky at a later date. In lieu of flowers, the family has requested that donations be made to the memorial fund.
