Joyce “Jo Ann” Helton Whitt age 73 of Salyersville, Kentucky passed away Thursday, July 07, 2022 at the Highlands ARH Regional Medical Center in Prestonsburg, Kentucky. She was born June 15, 1949 in Salyersville, Kentucky to the late John and Vuramay Helton.
Survived by one daughter, Patricia (Donnie) Trusty of Salyersville, Kentucky, one brother, Larry (Vicky) Helton of Salyersville, Kentucky, one sister, Betty Helton of Salyersville, Kentucky, four grandsons, Jamie Howard, Denny (Haley) Howard, Michael Howard, Tyler Howard, two great granddaughters, Layla Howard, Chelsey Howard, one niece, Tonya Risner, one nephew, Nathan Helton, great nieces, Sheena May, Taegyn May, Acelyn Greene, two great nephews, Rylan Helton, Jensen Greene with a host of family and friends.
In addition to her parents, Jo Ann is preceded in death by two brothers, Johnnie Helton, and Linnard Helton.
Funeral services were conducted Monday, July 11, 2022 from the Magoffin County Funeral Chapel with Robert May and Paul Brown officiating. Burial followed in the Helton Cemetery at Bloomington, Kentucky.
Arrangements are under the direction of the Magoffin County Funeral Home.
