Kathy Ann Porter Smithers age 64 of Salyersville, Kentucky passed away Friday, September 17, 2021 at the UK Medical Center in Lexington, Kentucky. She was born March 23, 1957 in Salyersville, Kentucky, daughter of Ritter and Raymond Combs.
Survived by one son, Jeffery Rubin (Rachel) Smithers of Salyersville, Kentucky, one daughter, LaDena (Matthew) Lyon of Salyersville, Kentucky, two brothers, Rex Porter of Paintsville, Kentucky, Jimmy Porter Salyersville, Kentucky, two sisters, Peggy Porter Kilgore, Gracetta Porter, both of Salyersville, Kentucky, seven grandchildren, Cashdunn Arnett, Jacedunn Shepherd, Gage Shepherd, Samara Smithers, Joseph Smithers, Joseph Sorg, and Makayla Sorg.
In addition to her parents, Kathy Ann is preceded by one son, Joseph Brian Smithers,
A celebration of life will be held Saturday, October 09, 2021 from 4:00 P.M. till 7:00 P.M. from the Magoffin County Funeral Home Chapel with Doug Slusher and Lonnie Smithers officiating.
