Keith Randall Salyer, 67, of Salyersville, was born in Magoffin County on May 19, 1955, to John Payne Salyer and Olga Lee Howard.
Keith was a union member and Journey Man Plumber, where he spent his lifetime working for everyone locally, plumbing their dream homes. He was one of the greatest catfisher and a pool shark. Still at the age of 67, no one could beat him at a table. Where he was much loved and respected there, he had many friends in that billiard room.
He is survived by his four daughters, Crystal A Reed, Brooke Lemaster and husband P.J. Lemaster, Amanda Lynn Helton and Isabella Grace Salyer; three granddaughters, Abigail Ellis Taylor, Amelia Grace Jasper, Kinsley Brooke Lemaster; two great-grands, Lakelyn Marie Clark and James Maverick Taylor; one brother, Gerald M. Salyer; one sister, Shirley Ann Bailey; and a host of nieces and nephews.
Proceeded in death by his loving mother, Olga Lee Howard Salyer, father, John P. Salyer, brothers, James Salyer, Russell Salyer, Charles Salyer, Clayton Salyer, and Debbie Salyer Harvey, who was raised with him as a sister.
Funeral services for Keith Salyer were conducted Monday, December 12, 2022, from the chapel of the Salyersville Funeral Home. Clergy Floyd Arnett delivered comforting words on the day of service. Interment followed in the Patrick Cemetery on College Heights in Salyersville, Kentucky.
