Kenneth Back age 76 of Jackson, Kentucky passed away Sunday, March 30, 2025 from the U.K. Good Samaritan Hospital in Lexington, Kentucky. He was born November 23, 1948 in Magoffin County, Kentucky to the late Galen and Hazel Howard Back.
Survived by his wife, Wanda Fay Pitts Back, one son, Brian Kenneth Back of Jackson, Kentucky, one daughter, Kimberly Michelle Back Romine of Jackson, Kentucky, three sisters, Barbara (Gordan) Gilliam of Lexington, Kentucky, Wanda Craft of Jackson, Kentucky, Mary Minix of Salyersville, Kentucky, six grandchildren, Chance Romine, Casey Romine, Chase Romine, Mackenzie Back, Kennedy Back, Paisley Kidd, and one great granddaughter, Ember Mae Romine.
In addition to his parents, Kenneth is preceded in death by seven brothers, Lewis Back, Neri Back, Shelby Back, Adrin Back, Walen Back, Testamon Back, Carthel Back, two sisters, Arizona Back Montgomery, and Anita Arnett.
Kenneth loved to be outdoors, ginseng hunting, woodworking, riding his four-wheeler, and working his jigsaw puzzles.
Funeral services were conducted Wednesday, April 02, 2025 from the Magoffin County Funeral Home Chapel with Dave Fletcher officiating. Burial followed in the Kenneth’s Family Cemetery at Jackson, Kentucky.
Arrangements were under the direction of the Magoffin County Funeral Home.
