Lacy Bailey age 70 of Salyersville, Kentucky passed away Friday, October 13, 2023 at the Pikeville Medical Center in Pikeville, Kentucky. He was born April 8, 1953 in Manderville, Indiana to the late Amos and Lona Smith Shepherd Bailey.
Survived by his companion, Melissa Rife, one daughter, Marissa LaShae (Tyler) Bailey of Royalton, Kentucky, one granddaughter, Maleah Bailey, one sister, Kathy Bailey of Paducah, Kentucky, two special nieces, Mary Rose, Heather Bailey, special cousins and best friends, Ray Bailey, Cindy Bailey, with many nieces, nephews, family, and friends.
In addition to his parents, Lacy is preceded in death by one daughter, Martha Marlana Rife, five brothers, Alexander Shepherd, William “Bill” Shepherd, Robert Shepherd, Floyd Pete Shepherd, James “Pango” Bailey, and one sister, Geraldine Combass.
Funeral services were conducted Monday, October 16, 2023 from the Magoffin County Funeral Home Chapel with Michael Rose officiating. Burial followed in the Nelson Allen Cemetery at Gunlock, Kentucky.
Arrangements were under the direction of the Magoffin County Funeral Home.
