Larry Joseph “Joey” Minix age 45 of Salyersville, Kentucky passed away Friday, January 10, 2025 at his home. He was born July 06, 1979 in Prestonsburg, Kentucky to Larry Minix and the late Rhonda Gail Salyers Minix.
Survived by his father, his wife, Mindy Joseph Minix, one son, Dawson Joseph (Kindra Lasha) Minix of Salyersville, Kentucky, three daughters, Tori Alexandria (Caleb Lethco) Minix, Madison Lynn (Bryan) Stutzbach, Shiana Dakota Minix all of Salyersville, Kentucky, one brother, Jonathan Jared Minix of Salyersville, Kentucky, two grandchildren, Kaysen Sean Lethco, Damien Joseph Stutzbach, and one on the way, Journi LaShay Minix.
Joey was a member of the Millwright Local Union 1076.
Funeral services will be conducted at 1:00 P.M. Friday, January 17, 2025 from the Magoffin County Funeral Home Chapel with Dennis Marshall officiating.
Burial will follow in the Minix Cemetery at Bee Tree, Kentucky. Friends may visit the funeral home Thursday, January 16, 2025 from 6:00 P.M. till 9:00 P.M. and any time prior to funeral services.
