Larry Lee Arnett age 88 of Salyersville, Kentucky passed away Monday, November 03, 2025 at the Greg and Noreen Wells Hospice Center in Hazard, Kentucky. He was born October 11, 1937 in Paintsville, Kentucky to the late Alben Baklley and Minerva Patrick Arnett.
Survived by nieces and nephews, Jack (Rebecca) Gilliland, Kenneth (Barbara) Gilliland, Phyllis “Fee” Gilliland, Sarah Lee (Kerry) Howard, Alice Lykins, Patrick (Codi) Arnett, with a host of family and friends.
In addition to his parents, Larry Lee is preceded in death by his wife Sarah Kay Owens Arnett, one brother, Shannon Lloyd Arnett, and one nephew, Alben Barkley Arnett II.
Larry Lee was a dedicated member of the Licking River Baptist Church.
Funeral services will be conducted at 11:00 A.M. Thursday, November 06, 2025 from the Magoffin County Funeral Home Chapel with James Maynard officiating. Burial will follow in the Highlands Memorial Park at Staffordsville, Kentucky. Friends may visit the funeral home any time prior to funeral services.
In lieu of flowers, contributions in honor of Larry Lee Arnett, can be made to the Bluegrass Care Navigators or the Licking River Baptist Church.
