Larry Michael Salyer II age 50 of Salyersville, Kentucky passed away Thursday, June 19, 2025 at the UK Medical Center in Lexington, Kentucky. He was born August 28, 1974 in Prestonsburg, Kentucky to Larry M. and Wanda Barker Salyer.
Survived by his parents, ex-wife, Shelia Arnett Salyer, one daughter, Larah Elizabeth Salyer of Salyersville, Kentucky, one brother, Gregory Scott (Sasha) Salyer of Salyersville, Kentucky, one sister, Marketta (Ryan) Wardlow of Indiana, nieces and nephews, Hunter Salyer, Callan Salyer, Aslynn Salyer, Felicia Rector, Allie Rector, and Whitney Rector.
Michael is preceded in death by his maternal grandparents, Earl and Helen Swentzel Barker and paternal grandparents, Aaron and Geraldine Howard Salyer.
Michael was a Pipefitter by trade and member of the Local 423.
Funeral services were conducted Monday, June 23, 2025 from the Magoffin County Funeral Home Chapel with Larry Blair and Justin Williams officiating. Burial followed in the Salyer Cemetery at Oakley, Kentucky.
In Lieu of flowers, family has request contributions made to the Magoffin County Funeral Home.
Arrangements were under the direction of the Magoffin County Funeral Home.
