Lloyd Henry Robinson age 72 of Floyd County, Kentucky passed away Friday, December 11, 2020 at the Hershel “Woody” Williams VA Medical Center in Huntington, West Virginia. He was born February 16, 1948 in Marshall, Michigan to the late Henry and Myrtle Goodman Robinson.
Survivors include, two daughters, Tara Lynn (Clyde) Reed of Prestonsburg, Kentucky, Amanda Danielle (Adrian Cruz) Robinson of Missouri, one brother, Ellis (Denise) Robinson of Indiana, one sister, Peggy Robinson Howard of Prestonsburg, Kentucky, four grandchildren, Arabella Cruz, Roman Cruz, Ben Reed, Alex Reed, with a host of nieces, nephews and special friend Pastor Justin Williams.
In addition to his parents, Lloyd is preceded in death by, two brothers, Clyde Robinson, Johnny Robinson, two sisters, Joyce Curtis, and Sue Warren.
Lloyd was an Army Veteran, a retired coal mine worker, and a dedicated member and Deacon of the Lakeville Baptist Church.
Funeral services for Lloyd, will be conducted at 1 P.M. Thursday, December 17, 2020 from the Lakeville Baptist Church with Justin Williams officiating. Burial will follow in the Hoot Shepherd Cemetery at Dwale, Kentucky. Friends may visit the church after 6:00 P.M. Wednesday, December 16, 2020 and any time prior till services on Thursday.
Due to the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic, masks and social distancing are required.
