loyd “Junior” Risner Jr., age 73, a resident of Hazel Green, Kentucky, passed away Friday, January 17, 2025 at ARH West Liberty in West Liberty, Kentucky.
Junior was born September 17, 1951 in Salyersville, Kentucky the son of the late Lloyd and Dora Risner. Brothers, Lacy Risner, Johnnie Risner, Odell Risner, Roosevelt Risner, Elwood Risner, Ray Risner, Johnnie Risner, Codell Risner, and sisters, Ressie Roark, Mary Louise Roark proceed him in death.
Those left to mourn includes sister, Tressie Brown of Salyersville, Kentucky, brother in law, Lee “Pap” Roark of Hazel Green, Kentucky, a host of family and friends who love and miss him.
Funeral services for Lloyd Risner Jr. will be conducted Friday, January 24, 2025 at 1:00 PM from the chapel of the Salyersville Funeral Home. Clergy Mark Risner and Johnnie Reed will deliver comforting words on the day of services. Interment will follow in the Roark Family Cemetery in Hazel Green, Kentucky. The family will welcome friends Thursday, January 23, 2025, after 6:00 PM and anytime prior to funeral services.
