Louise Vanderpool age 86 of Salyersville, Kentucky passed away Wednesday, July 28, 2021, at her home. She was born October 27, 1934, in Smoky Junction, Tennessee to the late L.D. and Mae Jeffers Cross.
Survivors include two sons, Roger Allen Hembree of Huntsville, Tennessee, Edward Vanderpool of Mulga, Alabama, four daughters, Kathy Mae Hembree-Harbin, Jeanetta Lyon, Darlene Lynch, all of Salyersville, Kentucky, Mary Stivers of Linden, North Carolina, eleven grandchildren, twenty great grandchildren, two great-great grandchildren.
In addition to her parents, Louise is preceded in death by her husband, Wilgus Vanderpool, three brothers, Eldon Cross, James Archie Cross, Woodford Cross, three sisters, Jean Mesangial, Earnestine Cross, Carolyn Coltrane.
Louise was a homemaker and a faithful member of the Bethel Bible Church.
A private visitation for family was held at the Magoffin County Funeral Home Chapel Friday, July 30, 2021.
