Mae Brown Bryant age 91 of Salyersville, Kentucky passed away Thursday, February 05, 2026 at her home. She was born October 05,1934 at Helenwood, Tennessee to the late James A. and Ruth Draun Brown.
Survived by one son, Jody Ray Bryant of Pikeville, Kentucky, one daughter, Tammy Bryant Taulbee of Salyersville, Kentucky, two brothers, Virgil Brown of Florida, Dennis Brown of Michigan, five grandchildren, Jesse Ray (Ashley) Minix, Peyton Reese Taulbee, Trenton Bryant Taulbee, Alexandria Danielle (John) Gonzales, Rachel Madison (Brandon) Davis, three step-grandchildren, Tiffany Brook (Josh) Cole , Zachary Sinclair Taulbee, Bethany Delrae Lovely, four great grandchildren, Christopher Logan Ray Minix, Wesley Gonzales, Jess Gonzales, Scarlett Davis, three great step-grandchildren, Steven Chase Dyer, Kendell Brooke Cole, and Lander Risner.
In addition to her parents, Mae is preceded in death by her husband, Ray C. Bryant, two brothers, Bub Brown, Bob Brown, and one sister, Norma Jean Chambers.
Funeral services were conducted Monday, February 09, 2026 from the Magoffin County Funeral Home Chapel with Eddie Dennison and Doug Dunn officiating. Burial followed in the Highland Memorial Park at Staffordsville, Kentucky.
Arrangements were under the direction of the Magoffin County Funeral Home.
