Malissa Hope Wendland Pugh, age 52, a resident of North Buckingham Avenue in West Van Lear, Kentucky, passed away Sunday, February 23, 2025 at Cabell Huntington Hospital in Huntington, West Virginia.
Malissa was born August 24, 1972 in Flint, Michigan the daughter of Robert and Margaret McAuley Wendland.
Malissa was employed as an LPN until her retirement. She enjoyed spending time with her family and friends as much and as often as she could.
Those left to mourn includes companion, Rob Caporlale of West Van Lear, Kentucky, son, Jacob Russell Pugh of West Van Lear, Kentucky, a host of family and friends who love and miss her.
A memorial service celebrating the life of Malissa Pugh will be announced at a later date.
Arrangements are entrusted to the Salyersville Funeral Home in Salyersville, Kentucky.
