Marvin A. Bailey age 60 of Cynthiana, Kentucky formerly of Salyersville, passed away Sunday, March 23, 2025 from the Grand Haven Nursing Home in Cynthiana, Kentucky. He was born October 08, 1964 at Salt Lick, Kentucky to the late Asberry and Flora Joseph Bailey.
Survived by his wife, Karen Burger Bailey, two sons, Nathan Bailey of Middleboro, Kentucky, Adam Warmouth, Kentucky of Chesterfield, Michigan two brothers, Troy Bailey, Mitchell Combs both of Salyersville, Kentucky, seven sisters, Laura Faye Booher, Evelyn Bragg both of West Virginia, Theda Huff, Verna Fitch both of Salyersville, Kentucky, Tammy Hicks of Paris, Kentucky, Jackie Cavens, and Amy Bailey both of Paintsville, Kentucky,
In addition to his parents, Marvin is preceded in death by two sisters, Freda Sanchea, and Katheen Bailey.
Funeral services will be conducted at 1:00 P.M. Saturday, March 29, 2025 from the Church of the Living Word with Michael Ross officiating. Burial will follow in the Bailey Cemetery at Salt Lick, Kentucky. Family and friends may visit the church Friday, March 28, 2025 after 4:00 P.M. and any time prior to the funeral services.
Family has requested that contributions made to the Marvin Bailey memorial fund at the Magoffin County Funeral Home.
