Mary Lou Brown Arnett age 91 of Salyersville, Kentucky passed away Saturday, April 27, 2024 at the Salyersville Nursing and Rehab Center in Salyersville, Kentucky. She was born November 28, 1932 at Bloomington, Kentucky to the late Dudley “Dud” Brown and the late America Hall Brown Bailey.
Survived by one son, Paul Micheal (Patty Sue) Marshall of Salyersville, Kentucky, two grandsons, Michael Reid Marshall of Salyersville, Kentucky, Cory Wayne Watson of Cynthiana, Kentucky, one nephew, David (Hyda) Slone of Hilliard, Ohio, one first cousin, David Brian “Butch” (Paula) Hall of Salyersville, Kentucky, her special pet, Rosie Puppy, and a host of nieces, nephews, family, and friends.
In addition to her parents, Mary Lou is preceded in death by her husband, R.C. Arnett, paternal grandparents, John Lacy and Mary Ellen Brown, maternal grandparents, Austin “Dunk” and Maude Lemaster Hall, one sister, Eula Bailey Slone, two uncles, Morgan Hall, Millard Hall, and first cousin, Richard Hall.
Funeral services were conducted Wednesday, May 01, 2024 from the Magoffin County Funeral Home Chapel with Dennis Marshall officiating. Burial followed in the Tipton Arnett Cemetery at Oakley , Kentucky.
Arrangements were under the direction of the Magoffin County Funeral Home.
