Melovete Clemons Trusty age 74 of Salyersville, Kentucky passed away Tuesday, December 13, 2022 at the University of Kentucky Bluegrass Hospice Care of Lexington, Kentucky. She was born July 19, 1948 in Decoy, Kentucky to the late Ervine Clemons and the late Tressie May Spencer.
Survived by her husband of fifty-four years, Blaine Trusty, three daughters, Peggy (Paul) Wright of Greenup, Kentucky, Corrinna (Rod) Middleton of Morehead, Kentucky, Treva Trusty of Lexington, Kentucky, three brothers, Roy (Jeannie) Holbrook of Jackson, Kentucky, Clarence (Charlotte) Bailey of Jackson, Kentucky, Manuel “Bub” (Theresa) Spencer of LaPorte, Indiana, four sisters, Imogene (Sam) Stone of Jackson, Kentucky, Wanda Christian of Jackson, Kentucky, Cutis (Wallace) Clemons of Jackson, Kentucky, Patti (Lloyd Dale) Cole of LaPorte, Indiana, four grandchildren who she loved as her own, Hailey Middleton, Timothy Wright, April Begley, Bobby Fraley, Jr., and three great grandchildren.
In addition to her parents, Melovete is preceded in death by two brothers, James Clemons, Ervine Clemons, Jr., and one infant sister, Mildred Clemons.
Graveside services were conducted in the Bradley-Hale Cemetery, Decoy, Kentucky Sunday, December 18, 2022 with Kenny Bailey officiating.
Arrangements are under the direction of the Magoffin County Funeral Home.
