Michael T. Lacy, born in 1944 in Salyersville, Ky., passed away on July 12 in Belleville, Ill.
His parents were Windsor Hurt Lacy and Helen Adams Lacy. He is survived by his brother, Jerry Lacy and his wife Joan, and his loving wife Barbara.
Michael did land development and mortgage banking during his working life. He was a man of great faith and had an endless humor. He attended the University of Kentucky and the University of Evansville.
Alonzo and Mabel Lacy were his grandparents and Charles Kenneth Lacy his uncle.
Michael had a great love for Salyersville and some of his ashes will be placed in a family plot in the Bluegrass Cemetery, as well as in Belleville alongside his and Barbara’s son that passed away as an infant.
