Olga Lee Howard Powers age 88 of Salyersville, Kentucky passed away Tuesday, June 10, 2025 at her home. She was born May 12, 1937 in Magoffin County, Kentucky to the late Adam and Dollie Joseph Howard.
Survived by two daughters, Judy Kay (Colin Ray) Jackson of Salyersville, Kentucky, Janice Sue (Darrell) Francis of Salyersville, Kentucky, daughter-in-law, Brenda Powers of Salyersville, Kentucky, one brother, Ronnie Howard of Salyersville, Kentucky, one sister, Rita Kay Adams of Salyersville, Kentucky, seven grandchildren, Colleen Jackson, Brad Jackson, Jacqueline Powers Arnett, Jessica Reed, Julia Montgomery, Jana Maynard, Lindsey Lemaster, eleven great grandchildren, Jackie Beth, Jaylee, Jerrica, Parker, Jackson, Jayce, Johnna, Jennings, Lucas, Lincoln, and Rhett Maverick.
In addition to her parents, Olga Lee is preceded in death by her husband, William H. Powers, one son, Jack Powers, four brothers, Alvin Green Howard, A.B. Howard, Bobby Howard, Johnny Howard, two sisters, Geraldine Salyer, Joy Lee Salyer, two half sisters, Marie Holliday, and Emma Holliday.
Funeral services will be conducted at 1:00 P.M. Friday, June 13, 2025 from the Magoffin County Funeral Home Chapel with Randy Haney officiating. Burial will follow in the Captain Power Cemetery at Lakeville, Kentucky. Friends may visit the funeral home Thursday, June 12, 2025 from 6:00 P.M. till 9:00 P.M. and any time prior to funeral services.
