Paul Bryon Risner, Sr. age 76 of Salyersville, Kentucky passed away Saturday, September 2, 2023 at the Salyersville Health Care Center in Salyersville, Kentucky. He was born December 07, 1946 in Royalton, Kentucky to the late Urb and Reva Alcon Risner.
Survived by two sons, Paul B. Risner, Jr., Jammie Joe Risner, both of Salyersville, Kentucky, one daughter, Tina Lavon Slusher of Salyersville, Kentucky, one brother, Munk Patton of Salyersville, Kentucky, four grandchildren, Brian Slusher, Rachel Patrick Puckett, Joshua Neil Risner, Christopher Daniel Risner, and nine great grandchildren.
In addition to his parents, Paul is preceded in death by his wife, Lillian Tackett Risner, four brothers, Till B. Risner, Carl Risner, Marion Ray Risner, Woodrow Risner, two sisters, Mary Magdalene Risner, and Josephine Bartram.
Funeral services were conducted Wednesday, September 06, 2023 from the Magoffin County Funeral Home Chapel with Jack Jordan and Jim Howard officiating. Burial followed in the Boone Howard Cemetery at Puncheon, Kentucky.
Arrangements were under the direction of the Magoffin County Funeral Home.
