Phyllis Joy Williams Salyer age 92 of Salyersville, Kentucky passed away Saturday morning July 22, 2023 at the University of Kentucky Hospital in Lexington, Kentucky. She was born January 23, 1931 in Portsmouth, Ohio to the late Tony and Ottie May Williams.
Survived by two sons, Donald Paul Salyer of Lexington, Kentucky, and Joseph (Vicki) Salyer of Salyersville, Kentucky, and one grandson, Cole Hudson Salyer.
Phyllis was a faithful member of the Salyersville First Baptist Church and retired from the Salyersville National Bank.
Funeral services were conducted Wednesday, July 26, 2023 from the Salyersville First Baptist Church with Ben Martin officiating.
Burial followed in the Williams Cemetery, at Mash Fork, Salyersville, Kentucky.
Arrangements were under the direction of the Magoffin County Funeral Home.

Sad to hear of her passing. I graduated with Phyllis, and her former husband Paul Salyer from Salyersville High School, in 1949. So few of us are left!
