Randy Lynn Minix age 57 of Salyersville, Kentucky, husband of Leatrice Patrick Minix, passed away Tuesday, December 22, 2020 from the U.K. Medical Center in Lexington. Kentucky. He was born June 07, 1963 in Salyersville, Kentucky to the late Edward Minix and Dora Smith Minix who survives. Survivors also include his wife, one son, Joshua (Tracie Coffey) Minix, of Salyersville, Kentucky, seven brothers, Edward (Reginia) Minix, Jr., Samuel Joseph (Melissa) Minix, Matthew Allen (Surrina) Minix, Gregory Lee (Mary) Minix, Adam Curtis (Miranda) Minix, Jamie Dwight (Alisha) Minx, Chadwick Neil (Jerica) Minix, all of Salyersville, Kentucky, three sisters, Lydia Colvin, Rebecca Jo (Jeff) Bolen, Tina (Ricky) Prater, all of Salyersville, Kentucky, two grandchildren, Graysen Randy Minix, Hayslee Janel Minix, with a host of aunts, uncles, cousins, brother-in-laws, sister-in-laws, nieces and nephews.
In addition to his father, Randy is preceded in death by his father-in-law and mother-in-law, Ishmel and Juanita Patrick, and brother-in-law Bill Arnett.
Randy was a millwright by trade and a member of the Bethel Bible Church.
Funeral services were conducted at 1:00 P.M. Monday, December 28, 2020 from the Bethel Bible Church with Tim Clark officiating. Burial followed in the Minix Cemetery at Salyersville, Kentucky.
Arrangements were under the direction of the Magoffin County Funeral Home.
