Russell Hamilton age 72 of Salyersville, Kentucky passed away Thursday, April 18, 2024 at the Paintsville ARH Hospital in Paintsville, Kentucky. He was born December 16, 1951 in Hazard, Kentucky to the late Jim and Jean McEntire Hamilton.
Survived by three sons, Andy Paul Arnett, Russell James “RJ” Hamilton both of Salyersville, Kentucky, Dennis Michael (Cindi) Hamilton of Elkton, Kentucky, two daughters, Melinda Sue Hamilton Watson, Melissa Grace McKinney both of Salyersville, Kentucky, one sister, Lorene Caudill of Hazard, Kentucky, twelve grandchildren, Brian Austin Watson, McKenzie Watson (Dallan), Kelsie Blanton (Beth), Kendall Blanton (Breanna), Alyson Hamilton, Tristin Hamilton, Aaron Arnett, Cailyn Hamilton, Dakota Hamilton, Addison Hamilton, Amber Hatton, Levi Mobelini, four great-grandchildren, Penelope Reign Mosley, Region Claire Mosley, Octavia Faye Fox, Liliana Grace Fox, with a host of nieces, nephews, family, and friends.
In addition to his parents, Russell is preceded in death by his first wife, Linda Lou Griffith, one brother, Lonnie Hamilton, two sisters, Shirlene Epperson, and Donna Shell.
Funeral services were conducted Tuesday, April 23, 2024 at the Magoffin County Funeral Home Chapel with Brad Standifer officiating.
Arrangements were under the direction of the Magoffin County Funeral Home.
