Ruth Smith Gambill, age 66, a resident of New Paintsville Road in Salyersville, Kentucky, passed away Wednesday, October 11, 2023 at ARH Paintsville in Paintsville, Kentucky.
Ruth was born July 15, 1957 in Jackson, Kentucky the daughter of the late James Wesley and Elsie Rae Fraley Smith.
Ruth was employed as an office manager for the family construction company. She was an avid member to her family and friends. She was a member of the Eastern Star Chapter in Salyersville, Kentucky.
Those left to mourn includes husband, Kenneth Lee Gambill of Salyersville, Kentucky, sisters, Lois Jean Karr of Salyersville, Kentucky, Amber VanCleve of Union, Kentucky, Stella Rae Hensley of Burlington, Kentucky, June Rose Taulbee of Salyersville, Kentucky, a host of family and friends who love and miss her.
Funeral services for Ruth Gambill were conducted Sunday, October 15, 2023 from the chapel of the Salyersville Funeral Home. Clergy Floyd Arnett delivered comforting words on the day of service. Entombment followed in the Gambill Family Cemetery on New Paintsville Road in Salyersville, Kentucky.
