Sarah “Kay” Owens Arnett age 84 of Salyersville, Kentucky passed away Tuesday, April 23, 2024 at the St. Joseph Hospital in Lexington, Kentucky. She was born October 31, 1939 in Sublett, Kentucky to the late Max C. and Afton Salyer Owens.
Survived by her husband, Larry Lee Arnett, nieces and nephews, Jack (Rebecca) Gilliland, Kenneth (Barbara) Gilliland, Phyllis “Fee” Gilliland, Sarah Lee (Kerry) Howard, Alice Lykins, Patrick (Codi) Arnett, with a host of cousins, family, and friends,
In addition to her parents, Kay is preceded in death by one nephew, Alben Barkley Arnett, II.
Kay was a faithful member of the Licking River Baptist Church.
Funeral services were conducted Saturday, April 27, 2024 from the Magoffin County Funeral Home Chapel with Dustin Sims. Burial followed in the Highland Memorial Park in Staffordsville, Kentucky.
Arrangements were under the direction of the Magoffin County Funeral Home.
