SALYERSVILLE – The Magoffin County Board of Education approved a change to the current school calendar in a special called meeting held on Tuesday, January 28, taking out a scheduled break to make up for two of the recent snow days taken.
In Tuesday’s meeting, the school board approved to change Friday, February 14 and Monday, February 17 to regular school days instead of scheduled breaks for the 2024/2025 school year.
With this adjustment, the school board projects the last day of school to be Wednesday, May 28, pending any additional future missed days that could impact this date.
