SALYERSVILLE – A Magoffin County residence was the scene for a shooting Friday night, with a man reportedly shot eight times and dumped in Johnson County.
The investigation began in Johnson County, with the man found in the parking lot at Paintsville ARH, according to authorities involved in the case. The victim, identified as a black male, gave his name to police, as well as the name of a suspect believed to be the shooter, also identified as a black male, possibly from Michigan.
At press time no arrest has been made and requests for information have not been returned.
While no other information is being released at this time, Paintsville Police Department, Johnson County Sheriff Department and Kentucky State Police Post 9 responded to the scene, and the case is still under investigation.
