Staci Lynn Arnett Minix age 51 of Salyersville, Kentucky passed away Monday, March 10, 2025 at the University of Kentucky Hospital in Lexington, Kentucky. She was born November 24, 1973 in Prestonsburg, Kentucky to the late Billy Neal and Betty Ruth Montgomery Arnett.
Survived by her husband, Steve Minix, one daughter, Laci Neal Minix of Salyersville, Kentucky, one brother, Neal (Paula) Arnett of Salyersville, Kentucky, one sister, Kim (Brett) Higgins of Georgetown, Kentucky, five nieces, one nephew, father-in-law, Kenneth (Sally) Minix of Salyersville, Kentucky, brother-in-law, Nick (Annette) Minix of Ashland, Kentucky, two sister-in-laws, Melissa “Missy” (David) Conn of West Liberty, Kentucky, Vietta Minix of Woodburn, Oregon, special cousin, Lisa Montgomery-Cheek, three special friends, Rachael Arnett Fraley, Twilla Barnett Blanton, Avavan Deaton, with a host of family, and friends.
In addition to her parents, Staci is preceded in death by her mother-in-law, Viola Howard Minix Thomas.
Staci was an organ donor and saved the lives of four people.
Funeral services will be conducted at 1:00 P.M. Friday, March 14, 2025 from the Magoffin County Funeral Home Chapel with Tim Clark officiating. Burial will follow in the Minix Cemetery at Bear Branch, Kentucky. Friends may visit the funeral home Thursday, March 13, 2025 from 6:00 P.M. till 9:00 P.M. and any time prior to funeral services.
