Stanley VanHoose, age 67, a resident of Danny Blanton Road in Salyersville, Kentucky; passed away Wednesday, January 24, 2024 at his home.
Stanley was born March 11, 1956 in River, Kentucky, the son of the late Ervin and Ethel Ratliff VanHoose. Companion, Rita Ruth Elrod, and brother, Sammy VanHoose preceded him in death.
Stanley worked for the railroad until his retirement. He cared for his beloved Rita, fishing, hunting, spending time with his family, friends, and beloved cats.
Those left to mourn includes sons, Bryan VanHoose of Tomahawk, Kentucky, Travis VanHoose of Chillicothe, Ohio, daughter, Kimberly Bolen of Stanton, Kentucky, brother, Dennis VanHoose of Paintsville, Kentucky, seven grandchildren, six great grandchildren, a host of family and friends who love and miss him.
Funeral services for Stanley VanHoose were conducted Saturday, January 27, 2024 from the chapel of the Salyersville Funeral Home. . Contributions can be made to the memorial fund at the funeral home.
